Autumn Family Shoot in Greenwich Park

FAMILY SHOOT

What a gorgeous autumn morning this was! It had been quite wet for several days leading up to this shoot, but luckily for us the rain stopped and the sun started to break through in the morning.

Nadege booked the shoot with me, as her mother was over visiting from France and she thought it would make a lovely gift for the family. We met in Greenwich Park and spent the morning chatting and playing with their young son, Louis, who was very excited to play football and explore the park! Louis, like most children was a little shy at first but after a short time of us interacting and having fun together opened right up.

My aim is to connect with each person so that they feel comfortable on the shoot. I like to pay close attention to the children and love getting to interact with them, that way not only do we all have fun together but the photos reflect the families close bonds and connections and you get photographs that you will love and treasure.

Simple family moments like this are so precious, and children grow up so fast! I can’t believe my little boy is nearly 4 already. It’s so important to be present and enjoy the moments that you share together. It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of everyday life (I’m guilty of this too!) but honestly when you look back you will never regret capturing your love for eachother. This is what life is all about! So whether you hire a photographer or take your own photos, remember to capture those precious moments so you can reminisce and hold on to them forever.
