Sarah Louise Photography (“I”, “me”, “my”) provides wedding and family photography services across Kent, London, Essex, Surrey and the South East. These Terms & Conditions explain how bookings, payments, image delivery and photography services are handled when working together.
By booking photography services with Sarah Louise Photography, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
A booking is secured once:
Wedding dates cannot be reserved without both of the above being completed. Booking fees are non-refundable and secure the agreed date and services.
All bookings are personal to the named clients and cannot be transferred to another person or date without written agreement.
Under UK law, clients have a 14-day cooling off period after booking, after which cancellation terms apply.
A booking fee is required to secure your date.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the agreed photography date:
If final payment is not received by the due date, Sarah Louise Photography reserves the right to cancel services and retain the booking fee.
Photography coverage includes the hours and services agreed at the time of booking.
Clients are responsible for providing a clear timeline and schedule before the event. While every effort is made to capture all important moments, specific photographs or poses cannot be guaranteed.
If timings overrun significantly beyond the agreed coverage, additional photography time may be charged.
Guests are welcome to take their own photographs throughout the day. However, clients agree that Sarah Louise Photography will remain the sole professional photographer hired for the event.
Sarah Louise Photography cannot be held responsible for missed moments or interrupted coverage caused by guests, suppliers, or other individuals interfering with photography.
For wedding coverage lasting longer than 4 hours, a substantial hot meal and short break should be provided for the photographer, ideally during the main wedding breakfast service.
All images are professionally edited in Sarah Louise Photography’s signature style. This includes colour correction, exposure adjustments, cropping and general finishing.
Clients acknowledge that editing style and artistic approach are at the photographer’s discretion and form part of the creative service provided.
Wedding galleries are typically delivered within:
Images are delivered via a private online gallery, with download access included. USBs, albums or prints are included only where stated within the chosen package.
Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images once delivered.
Online galleries are hosted for one year unless otherwise stated.
Sarah Louise Photography does not guarantee long-term image archiving beyond this period. Clients are strongly encouraged to save and back up all photographs once received.
If a booking needs to be postponed, clients should contact Sarah Louise Photography as soon as possible.
Date changes are subject to availability. If the new date cannot be accommodated, the booking fee remains non-refundable.
If bookings are moved into a new calendar year, updated pricing may apply.
Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
Booking fees are non-refundable. If cancellation takes place within 30 days of the wedding or session date, the remaining balance may still be payable.

All photographs remain the copyright and intellectual property of Sarah Louise Photography.
Clients receive personal usage rights to download, print and share their images for non-commercial purposes. Images must not be edited, altered, filtered or sold without written permission.
In the unlikely event of illness, emergency, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, liability is limited to the return of monies paid.
While every reasonable care is taken with digital files, backups and delivery, Sarah Louise Photography cannot be held responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances outside reasonable control.
Sarah Louise Photography reserves the right to end coverage if subjected to threatening, abusive, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour from guests or attendees.
In such cases, no refund will be due.
Your personal information is handled securely and only used in connection with your booking and photography services.
