A Joyful Multicultural Wedding at Oasis Farm Waterloo in London

As a London wedding photographer, I get to capture some of the most unique love stories - and Roz and Dil’s multicultural wedding at Oasis Farm Waterloo was an absolute joy. Their summer wedding blended the vibrant energy of a Sri Lankan ceremony with the serene intimacy of an Irish Quaker wedding, creating a day full of colour, culture, and love.

It was such an honour to be there, documenting all the laughter, heartfelt moments, and joyous celebrations.

The Vibrant Sri Lankan Wedding Ceremony

The day kicked off with a traditional Sri Lankan wedding ceremony, bursting with music, movement, and stunning colours. Roz and Dil looked incredible in their Sri Lankan attire, and the atmosphere was electric. Dancers performed, guests joined in the celebrations, and every moment was a feast for the senses - so much energy, so much joy, and so much love.

A Quaker Ceremony: Reflection, Meaning & Heartfelt Moments

After the Sri Lankan ceremony, Roz changed into a classic white wedding dress, bringing a modern touch to the day. Their Quaker wedding ceremony offered a quiet, reflective moment - friends and family spoke only when moved to share memories, blessings, or funny stories.

It was intimate, personal, and deeply emotional - the kind of moment that makes wedding photography so special. These quiet, heartfelt moments are exactly what I love capturing for couples.

Celebrating Culture, Family & Fun

The celebrations didn’t stop there! From delicious food to heartfelt speeches, laughter and love filled the air. The warmth from their family and friends made every shot feel alive and full of energy - a perfect mix of tradition and personal style.

Ceilidh Dancing & A Party to Remember

When the Ceilidh band kicked in, everyone hit the dance floor! Whether you knew the steps or not, everyone joined in - spinning, clapping, and laughing together. The evening was full of movement, joy, and celebration, and it was such a highlight of the day.
