The day kicked off with a civil ceremony on Ashridge House’s iconic grand staircase. With its stunning Gothic architecture, the setting was cinematic - timeless, elegant, and brimming with love.
After the ceremony, Ellie and Nick headed to the on-site chapel for a blessing in front of their guests. The chapel’s soft natural light and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place for reflection and connection - a quiet, intimate moment in an otherwise celebratory day.
Garden Portraits Full of Spring Colour
Once the formalities were complete, we ventured into the manicured English gardens. The grounds were in full bloom, from flower-lined pathways to glimpses of grand architecture peeking through the trees. Ellie and Nick were completely relaxed, which made it easy to capture those candid, in-between moments that tell the full story of the day.

The wedding breakfast took place in the elegant Lady Marian Alford Room. Marble fireplaces, soaring ceilings, and ornate gold leaf detailing gave the room a palace-like feel. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, love, and a few happy tears - especially during the speeches, which were heartfelt and touching.
